Health E Oil is formulated with an All Natural mechanically pressed soybean oil blended with Human Food Grade Natural Vitamin E containing essential fatty acids that your horse may be lacking (Omega 3 and Omega 6 Fatty Acids). Health E Oil (min 98% total fat) is an excellent source of easily digested calories that are absorbed in the small intestine not requiring any fermentation in the cecum and colon reducing the incidence of colic and laminitis. Excellent for senior horses that need weight gain.
Feeding directions per day: Top dress on grain diet or oats per 1000 lb. of body weight.
For a beautiful coat shine: 1-2 ounces
For weight gain: 4 ounces
Lactating Mares: 6-8 ounces
Breeding Stalions: 6-8 ounces
Endurance & Performance Horses 8-12 ounces
Growing Foals & Weanlings: 1 ounce per 250 lbs of body weight.
